Rabbit Kiosk

Objectives

Understand the real-world context of how a range of different people will use the kiosk. The fact that there is currently a kiosk in the final location is a great opportunity to observe real world behaviour that will directly influence the design of the kiosk interaction.

The Process

A combination of observation and direct questions, a range of different people will be asked to participate in a short piece of research (~2 mins / pax). We want to get a minimum of 20 people’s reactions to the kiosk and understand technical details such as how far away they stand from the screen, to the most comfortable position for them to interact with it. We would like to record the interactions as part of the research, with the participants agreement. Typical questions might be “how comfortable did you feel using the screen?” “Have you used a large screen before?” “Have you used the carrot kiosk before?” “What was the best part of the experience?” “What was the worst part of the experience?”
